Green Clay is a naturally occurring sediment clay. It is not very common because it comes from the sea, so it is very rich in marine minerals which are beneficial to the skin.
It has absorbent properties, it cleanses and detoxifies the skin. Clay has a negative charge, so it attracts and draws out impurities from the skin, which tends to be positively charged. It works like a magnet to eliminate impurities, dirt, pollutants and excess oil. It also enhances blood circulation resulting in radiant naturally glowing skin. The mineral content is quite high, in particular calcium, iron, magnesium, silica, potassium.
